GLAY Maspalomas

GLAY (Gay and Lesbian Associates of Yumbo) is a Spanish registered charitable association representing the LGBTQIA+ community of Maspalomas and Gran Canaria. Run entirely by volunteers, it promotes equality and diversity, provides objective information on LGBTQIA+ topics, and liaises with local authorities and other NGOs on human rights and sexual health issues. GLAY organizes Maspalomas PRIDE Gran Canaria, established in 2002, and runs the Punto Arcoíris community office at the Yumbo Centre as a meeting point and support network for residents and visitors. It also hosts cultural, sporting and leisure activities throughout the year and raises funds for LGBTQIA+ causes.
